It is my hope that the imagery of this song conjures up scenes of lonely old people, who are in effect nailed to this life, though the world has all changed around them and it doesn't feel like home anymore.
Credits:
This song started with an acoustic guitar instrumental written by Curtis Simonsen. From there lyrics were written. When recording time came the rest of the song grew out of the forge fires of circumstance. All composition by JC Simonsen except the rhythym acoustic guitar parts and the acoustic solo at the beginning of the song. All parts performed by JC Simonsen except said parts.
